The Chisholm Trail

Early travelers followed and cowboys drove their cattle along Brushy Creek, a shallow body of water used frequently by pioneers with horse and buggies looking for low-water crossings. The trail became known as ìThe Old Chisholm Trailî and to this day, wagon tracks can be seen in the rock where many have crossed before.
